The trials and tribulations of the Bumstead family:
Dagwood, an architect with the Dithers Construction Company;
his wife, Blondie; and their children, Alexander and Cookie.
Faced with an ever-present lack of financial resources,
Blondie's ineffable sense of logic, and a tightwad boss,
Julius C. Dithers, Dagwood, the simple-minded bumbler,
struggles to cope with life and ease his monetary burdens.
