Dawson's Creek chronicles the coming of age journey of
six friends in the small town of Capeside, Massachusetts.
The first season introduced the vivid and absorbing
relationship between Dawson and Joey. Buddies since they
were small children, the two parlayed their close
friendship into a full-fledged romance last season, only
to have their worst fears realized - going from friendship
to romance is a rocky road to travel, and these two are
far from the end of it. Jen's wild ways in New York City
earned her a one way ticket to live with her grandmother
in Capeside, and while she initially drew Dawson's attention,
she soon established herself in Capeside as she struggled
to find herself. Pacey, meanwhile, has always been the black
sheep of his law-enforcement family, and plays the outsider.
But the love of a new girl in town, Andie, changed all that
and suddenly motivated him in ways he never thought possible.
Andie addressed her own demons, coping with a family tragedy,
while her brother Jack faced his father and all of Capeside
by announcing he was gay. Together but alone in their
individual struggles, these characters continue to grapple
with sexuality as well as their emotional, physical and
intellectual growth and the changing world around them.

Dawson's Creek began its third season with the characters
entering their junior year at Capeside High. Two new semi-
regular characters were introduced: Eve, a wild and seductive
senior with unorthodox views and danger written all over her.
Henry, the energetic young spitfire quarterback of the
school's less-than-stellar football team, The Minutemen,
who proves to be unexpectedly shy and lacking in
confidence with the opposite sex.
