What if tomorrow's newspaper arrived on your
doorstep today? That's precisely what happens
to Gary Hobson in Early Edition. The world is
turned upside down for this Chicago man when a
strange cat turns up at his door with a copy of
the next day's headlines. It won't be the last time.
As caretaker of tomorrow's news, the reluctant
hero has taken on a trying responsibility. He
risks his life every day to help others avert
tragedy and misfortune. Gary is helped by his
friend Marissa, a blind woman who recognizes
the true importance of his task, and encourages
Gary as he uses it to change people's lives.
