An endearing working-class romantic comedy set against
the bright lights and unlimited optimism of the Las Vegas
strip, the half-hour series presents a unique take on
young newlyweds living their American Dream.
Nikki White and her giant teddy bear of a husband Dwight
came to Vegas straight out of high school to pursue their
lifelong dreams: to become a showgirl and a professional
wrestler, respectively. She was born to dance, he was
destined to lift heavy stuff and throw it around. While
they struggle for that big break, love and Nikki's
unwavering sense of humor about life's quirky pitfalls
may conquer all. These two stick together through thick
and thin in an adventurous partnership that stands in
marked contrast to the insane, around-the-clock
lifestyle in a city they call home.
Determined to hold on to their dreams while they are
forced by the outside world to toil away at unglamorous
jobs, Nikki and Dwight seem to always manage to find
humor in life's speed bumps and turn to each other to
keep their hopes alive. As in love as the day they met,
Nikki and Dwight embrace their blue-collar life with
style and laughter that takes them together through
each new roll of the dice.
